Behavioral Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

  • Identify treatment techniques relevant to behavioral treatment for Opioid Use Disorder such as motivational interviewing and coping skills.
  • Summarize the empirical evidence supporting the application of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in the context of Opioid Use Disorder treatment.
  • Develop examples of clinical interview questions for a Motivational Interviewing session tailored to a patient with Opioid Use Disorder.
  • Implement Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing when caring for patients with opioid use disorders.
