Needs Statement

This education series targets pediatric hematology-oncology faculty, residents, fellows, medical officers, clinical officers, nurses, pharmacists, medical students, and other healthcare professionals in the Global HOPE network in Africa and in Houston who help manage children with pediatric hematological malignancies. The series aims to expand the knowledge of learners about the clinical challenges and constraints of treating pediatric hematological malignancies in resource-limited settings. Reviews of adapted treatment protocols will be used as an impetus for discussion. Recommendations will also be given about how to implement those protocols in clinical practice to enhance the quality of cancer care and to improve patient outcomes.
