Resources for Learners

As Dr. James T. McDeavitt, Executive Vice President and Dean of Clinical Affairs describes in our introductory video, the renovated Learning Library of Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Clinician Resources offers new ways of exploring and engaging with medical education opportunities as well as tools and resources for your own development as a clinical educator. The library features an intuitive interface with capabilities for browsing and faceted searching, allowing for deeper interaction with a growing catalog of evidence-based educational activities.

Get started by creating and customizing your learning profile to receive content that is relevant to your professional growth and workplace needs. Explore learning assets by topic or delivery format, subscribe to a series, receive notifications on upcoming courses, curate your own watchlist, and identify new subjects to follow or explore.

How do I get started?

Navigate to the "My Profile" menu in the top right corner of the browser and select "Profile & Settings" to create your learning profile and indicate your preferences, including topic areas, series subscriptions, and notifications. BCM Clinician Resources will personalize your experience to recommend educational content relevant to you. Learn more about these features in our guide for Personalizing BCM Clinician Resources. After you have set up a profile, visit the Learning tab to begin exploring our growing library of educational activities.
