Needs Statement
Physicians, psychologists, residents, fellows, physician assistants, nurses, and social workers in a variety of disciplines need to be regularly updated on strategies for navigating suicidal grief, posttraumatic growth, and adverse clinical outcomes. The series aims to increase knowledge of the learners in these topic areas, and to enhance the quality of care and improve outcomes.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of the session, the participants should be able to:
- Distinguish between the pros and cons of current imaging for informing diagnosis.
- Appraise the advantages of choosing to implement EEG as part of clinical research and practice.
- Evaluate the choice of experimental design in targeting specific components of a circuit and how this is driven by symptomatology.
- Identify the problems posed by patient heterogeneity and how we can use electrophysiological biomarkers to inform personalized medicine.
