Responsible Prescription of Pain Medicine during a Drug Overdose Epidemic

In this presentation, Dr. Travis Rieder shares his personal experiences as a pain and opioid therapy patient and discusses bioethics in the context of the opioid overprescription and overdose epidemic. He offers policy analysis surrounding this issue and and highlights practical ways that physicians can help to prevent and resolve opioid addiction and overdose.
