i2b2 stands for Informatics for Integrating Biology & the Bedside (i2b2) Cohort Discovery System. This allows users to explore for potential research study cohorts with the clinical data acquired from BCM's electronic health record systems (Epic). The purpose of this activity is to increase efficiency and effectiveness of utilizing i2b2 to improve the overall experience of initiating research topic of interest and analyzing data.
