CME Requirements
The Oregon Medical Board requires 60 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or AOA Category 1-A or 2-A credits every 2 years.
Oregon Topics Requirements
Pain Management: At least 6 hours related to pain management or terminal illness, including a 1-hour Oregon Pain Management Commission (OPMC) course.
Cultural Competency: Required for all licensees.
Suicide Risk Assessment: Specific training in suicide risk assessment, treatment, and management is required.
Alzheimer’s Disease: Required for physicians and physician assistants.
Exceptions: Residents in training and active-duty military personnel deployed outside Oregon for 90+ days are exempt.
