CME Requirements
Physicians renewing their license with the Maryland Board of Physicians must complete at least 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ during the two-year period before their license expires.
Maryland Topics Requirements (Subject to Change)
Opioid Prescribing: 1 hour on opioid prescribing (or CDS prescribing/dispensing).
Implicit Bias: 2 hours on implicit bias (one-time requirement for first renewal after April 2022).
Substance Use Disorders: 8 hours on treating and managing substance use disorders (one-time for all DEA-registered practitioners).
