Arizona State Medical Board requires 40 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ every 2 years to stay licensed.
Arizona Topics Requirements
Physicians with a valid United States Drug Enforcement Association registration who prescribe schedule II-controlled substances are required to complete at least 3 CME training hours each renewal cycle on topics related to opioids, substance use disorder or addiction. More than 30 CME credits can be earned in any subject area.
