Development and Leadership
BCM Clinician Resources was developed by the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies with the guidance of the Continuing Professional Development Planning Committee. Informed by the education and patient care missions of the College, this initiative seeks to innovate and improve the effectiveness and accessibility of continuing professional development to address the gaps and needs of clinicians when, where, and how needed.
The Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies
Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies (CCIT) designs, develops, and maintains the BCM Clinician Resources site informed by the recommendations from the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Planning Committee, the Executive Committee, institutional priorities, and feedback from users and stakeholders.
The CCIT is comprised of three divisions, the Division of Continuing Professional Development (DCPD), the Division of Digital Health Innovation (DDHI), and the Institute for Continuing Professional Development in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (I-QIPS). Together these divisions use innovative approaches to provide educational resources and tools for health care professionals, educators, students, patients, and families in the United States and around the world.
The Clinician Resources Planning Committee
The Clinician Resources Planning Committee is composed of representatives from across BCM with an interest in advancing Baylor's Continuing Professional Development program, innovating use of technology for content delivery, and improving patient care.
