Presentations for this session are: "Predictive Factors of Head Growth Failure in Infants Fed Donor Human Milk" and "Discovering Threshold Concepts in Becoming a Master Clinical Teacher." Live attendance for this conference will only be available through Zoom.

Needs Statement

Physicians, residents, fellows, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Pediatric Surgery, Perinatology, and Family Practice need to be regularly updated about research activities and the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment modalities in the Neonatology section. The series aims to increase knowledge of the learners in these topic areas, and to improve their research planning and implementing skills, which will contribute to enhancing the quality of care and improve patient outcomes.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:

  • Assess basic and clinical research related to neonatology.
  • Assess new treatment modalities for application in clinical practice.
  • Evaluate ongoing research activities of the Section of Neonatology.
  • Analyze research activities in all areas, including physiology, literature, and design.
