In this presentation, Dr. Richard Gibbs shares his experience and insight regarding the the history of the BCM Human Genome Sequencing Center, as well as the current state of genetic and genomic research and technology. In addition, he offers possible mechanisms for integrating genomics into clinical practice.

Needs Statement
