In this presentation, Dr. Ruhee Dere discusses her team's research into the existence and function of modulator enzymes that regulate the tubulin code. She gives an overview of the methods and findings of her research, including comparisons to the modulator enzymes involved in "writing," "reading," and "erasing" the histone code.

The series aims to expand the knowledge base of learners in these topic areas, improve their clinical competencies and research skills, enhance patient care, and improve outcomes.

At the conclusion of the session, the participants should be able to:

  • Recall non-canonical roles for chromatin remodelers outside the nucleus.
  • Discuss microtubule post-translational modifications as essential for genomic stability.
  • Review the unique convergence of 3p tumor suppressors at the mitotic spindle.
