In this Department of Medicine Grand Rounds, presented in collaboration with the Center for Professionalism, Dr. Betsy White Williams, Ph.D., M.P.H., Clinical Program Director of the Professional Renewal Center, discusses the challenges of promoting and maintaining professionalism during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. She helps identify strategies that can help foster professionalism and wellness during this difficult time period for healthcare workers.

Needs Statement
Faculty and trainees within the Department of Medicine who are involved in the care of patients need to be regularly updated with the recent advances and guidelines in the fields of internal medicine and quality improvement to increase clinical knowledge, and to implement the advances and guidelines in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and outcomes.
