Professional Statement

Andrew B. Civitello, MD FACC is Medical Director of the Heart Transplant Program at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Co-director of the Advanced Heart Failure Center of Excellence and Program Director for the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He has achieved board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Civitello treats the entire spectrum of heart failure, with special clinical and research interest in novel therapies, mechanical circulatory support and transplantation. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles for major scientific journals and spoken professionally in both national and international forums.
